Should my patient with Complete Right Bundle Branch Block participate in organized sports?

Complete Right Bundle Branch Block (RBBB)


Should perform:

  • Echocardiogram (or other appropriate testing)
  • Exercise test

Asymptomatic, no type II second-degree AV block or complete heart block, no other heart disease

"Athletes with RBBB, who do not develop periods of type II second-degree AV block or complete heart block spontaneously or during exercise and who have no symptoms or heart disease identified by appropriate testing that otherwise precludes participation, can participate in all competitive athletics."

All sports = reasonable if conditions met
